My stay at Arizona Charlie's Boulder had its ups and downs. The warm and welcoming staff truly made an impression on me, especially during check-in. However, the overwhelming cigarette smoke in the casino area and some cleanliness issues in the room left room for improvement. Overall, it's a decent spot with a friendly vibe but could use some updates.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and serviceable, but a bit dated. I had a good sleep overall, which is what mattered most to me. Unfortunately, there were some cleanliness issues like the smell in the carpet and an old TV.
Service
8.0
The staff was friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home. I appreciated the efficiency during check-in, and the team was always ready to chat, which added a personal touch to my stay.
Location
7.0
The hotel is conveniently located near the interstate and public transport, which is great for visiting nearby attractions. However, the smoke in the casino can be a dealbreaker for some.
Dining
5.0
I found some meal options at the casino area but didn't try them due to the smoky atmosphere. There was a good selection, but the dining experience could definitely be improved.
Facilities
6.0
Facilities like shops and laundry services were available, but the overall cleanliness of the common areas left much to be desired. It's great that they offer 24-hour bingo, which was a fun way to pass the time.

5.4/10

I had a mixed experience during my stay at Arizona Charlie's Boulder. While the affordable room rate was appealing, I found the lack of amenities and the overwhelming cigarette smoke to be quite disappointing. However, I did appreciate the close parking and proximity to the convention center, which made my business trip easier overall.

Rooms
6.0
The room I stayed in had minimal amenities and was somewhat dated. I noticed that the TV was old, and the couch had a dirty appearance. While the setup of the beds was fair, I struggled with a noisy air conditioner that disrupted my sleep. Overall, I expected more for the price, especially in Las Vegas.
Service
5.0
During my stay, I found the front desk staff to be somewhat unhelpful. I requested extra pillows and blankets but received no assistance, which was frustrating. It's something that could certainly be improved.
Location
6.0
The location worked well for me as a business traveler, situated away from the noisy strip and making it easy to park close to my room. However, I did feel a little apprehensive about walking to the casino area since it's separated from the room blocks.
Dining
7.0
The dining options were definitely a highlight. I thoroughly enjoyed the food, especially from the buffet and the café, which offered great quality at reasonable prices. This is one aspect that I think really stands out for Arizona Charlie's.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities left a bit to be desired, with no poolside service and limited offerings compared to other hotels in Las Vegas. The small pool, along with the fact that I noticed the outdoor fountains were dry and not in use, adds to my view that the hotel could use some upgrades.

Staying at Arizona Charlie's Boulder was a mixed experience for me. The budget-friendly rates were appealing, but the cleanliness and overall amenities left much to be desired. While I enjoyed the vibrant casino atmosphere, the rooms had a worn-out feel that detracted from my stay.

Rooms
5.0
My room had a noticeable lack of cleanliness, with stained carpets and an overall outdated look. There were minimal amenities, and the bathroom was smaller than I hoped. It really felt like a budget hotel in a not-so-great neighborhood.
Service
5.0
I found the staff to be polite, though my experience at the front desk was frustrating. The clerk's tone was condescending when I reported issues with my room keys, which added to my disappointment.
Location
5.0
The location was convenient, situated near metro bus stops. However, the surrounding area had a lot of homeless individuals, which made me feel uneasy at times.
Dining
5.0
The food options were surprisingly good, and the prices were hard to beat. I appreciated that dining was a highlight during my visit, although I recommend visiting just for the meals.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities felt lacking, with a small pool and limited services. Having to walk to the casino from my room was also a bit inconvenient.

7.0/10

My stay at Arizona Charlie's Boulder had its ups and downs. The staff was friendly and welcoming, making me feel at home from the start. However, the cleanliness of my room left a lot to be desired, with issues like dirty furniture and poor ventilation. The location is convenient for accessing the casino, but I wouldn't say I felt completely safe walking around the area.

Rooms
5.0
The room was not up to par with cleanliness, showing signs of wear, including stained furniture and torn wallpaper. I felt uncomfortable sitting on the couch due to its condition, and the overall maintenance could use significant improvement.
Service
5.0
The staff was genuinely nice and helpful, with a shoutout to Laura from the management team for her assistance. They made the check-in process smooth and were always friendly.
Location
5.0
It's conveniently located right by the casino, which is a plus, but I felt a bit uneasy walking around the neighborhood at times. The metro bus stops nearby are a handy option for transportation.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were decent, with the Sourdough Cafe serving a variety of meals. However, my experience with one meal was disappointing as the steak was not satisfactory.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel has some useful facilities, but the overall environment felt dated. The pool hours were quite limiting, opening late in the day, which didn’t work well with our schedule.

I recently stayed at Arizona Charlie's Boulder, and it was a mixed bag. While the staff were super friendly and welcoming, my room left a lot to be desired and needed proper cleaning. The location is great for avoiding the craziness of the Strip, but I felt a bit uneasy with security in the area. Overall, I'd say it's a decent budget option if you don't mind some quirks.

Rooms
5.0
The room was basic and somewhat clean, but the carpet had stains and smelled musty. I also noticed the bed was old, and the cleaning service was lacking because we were told they only clean when checking out.
Service
6.0
The staff, especially at the gift shop and the casino host office, were friendly and accommodating. But I did have an awkward experience with a staff member who accused me of swearing.
Location
7.0
I love the location, being away from the Strip made my stay more relaxed, plus there are metro bus stops nearby, which helps save on transport.
Dining
5.0
Dining options were decent, with a buffet and various cafes, though I had a disappointing meal at the Sourdough Cafe when I received a steak that wasn't up to par.
Facilities
5.0
Facilities were alright, with a casino and laundry services, but there were issues in security and some areas felt unsafe, especially at night.
